Why say “fear and anger” cause insulin resistance? Women have been shamed repeatedly for feeling fear and anger. Just say “stress” because that is the truth.
This was very informative and helfpul to me! I’ve had elevated HgA1C and fasting glucose for several years. And also low AM Cortisol. I have not known how to address chronic stress, and have finally taken a break from work to just rest and rejuvenate. Thank you for your wisdom and help Dr Christiane! <3
Dr. Northrup was on a Bangor, ME radio station this morning–March 11–explaining anti-vaccination , and this is what I had learned over 20 years ago. Great to hear her support of parents who do not want their children receiving shots that could have harmful side effects.
thank you xxx
I have been told that my blood sugar is slightly on the high side and I have thyroid/adrenal issues.
No one has explained the connection that insulin has with hormones like you just did Dr. Northrop. I have a much better understanding of what I need to pay attention to now.
Thank you very much
Thank you for info about insulin resistance. It is exactly what has been my problem for a decade(at least). At 59 I have experienced burn out from work etc. Have had 2 months off to get healthy and it’s been quite a journey! I went on a Keto diet/lifestyle, started meditating and exercising on a regular basis. I’ve started journaling my thoughts feelings and worked through some emotional pain and have lost a little weight. I have experienced a stall the last month in weight loss but I’m feeling better in my skin! Thank you for bringing this info to all women who need to know how to change their lifestyle for the better!
I have followed Dr. Northrup for decades..she is amazing, has her feet on the ground, and always has important information..
