Just one tiny comment about something you mentioned in the section on proprioceptive writing. As a professional musician, I need to point out that Mozart is not considered a composer from the Baroque period. He hails from the Classical period. I love the idea of writing while classical music is playing, especially that from the early periods, but perhaps you should qualify that advice with the more general phrase, “classical music – such as Bach, Vivialdi, or Mozart.”
Keep up your amazing work! I am reading through the book now, then will go back and try the things you suggest, one at a time and in depth. I am 70 years old and still working to overcome the death of my mother when I was almost nine, especially because of the health anxiety I was left with.

Hi Connie!
I love all Dr Northrup books and I am trying to think positive thoughts. You said that you still working to overcome the death of your mother and the health anxiety that you were left with – I am in the same situation – I am in my early sixties, healthy and in a good shape. My mother died in front of me when I was 17 and she was 44 . She had a heart attack. My health anxiety increased during menopuse and now is really bad. How do I think positive thoughts when I am really afraid that I will have a heart attack. I know that thinking about it is no good. How do I refrase my thoughts? Dr Northrup – please help:)
