Dream up a pleasurable adventure, get out there and do it, and chances are someone else will do it with you. Drive into the city to take a tango lesson. Book the cabin for a girlfriends’ weekend in the woods during the dark months of winter. Pull out the card game or board game, get some people together, and laugh yourself silly over a trivia question.
Just want to let you know I will be turning 85 this friday and find it exciting. You are so right we all get older but do we stop walking, hiking, getting out and meeting people. no way we continue and it is truly great. We let go of all out old ideas of what we thought life was really about, we put away our old and probably ancient ideas, in other words what I have learned is accepting the moment, this day full of expectations, good bad or indifferent, doesn’t matter, just to remember we have this one glorious day to be the best person ever and enjoying the elements we encounter as we stride through our glorious day.. Life can be a very positive adventure and too just go with it, blessings to you for all you do, you are an inspiration. Love
