When my colleague and fellow author Colette Baron-Reid asked to interview me about my newest book, Goddesses Never Age, I was thrilled. First, she’s a goddess herself! Colette is also someone who is ageless, and a great example of what it looks like to thrive as you grow older. Here’s what Colette wrote about the interview: “If you’re thinking that this is about age and how to manage it, think again. It’s about the limiting beliefs, we women put on ourselves, and how we can change that. Age is a chronological number; biology is changeable; youth is timeless. In my interview with Dr. Northrup, she discusses how young women have preconceived ideas of what growing old is all about and how they grow into that outdated model. She also talks about how women need to claim all aspects of their juicy lives and ignore the invitation to conform to the societal beliefs of what growing old should be like.
