My local PBS station advertised Dr. northrup’s new special was supposed to be on the 28th at 11:00 a.m. It was never on. And it’s not on the schedule now. Is there a reason why it was not on?

I love Dr Christiane Northrup’s attitude about age. There are no rules. It’s about doing what is best for you. We live in such a judgemental society that I agree with her philosophy about not sharing your age. It’s no one’s business. If we continually live our lives based on what society tells us we can or cannot do at a particular time in our life, we may be missing out on opportunities that we will regret later.

I’m frustrated. While I love listening to Dr. Northrup speak about ‘reframing’ aging and speaking about how we can stop dressing like a 20 year old, I see her addressing a public audience without panty hose. While her skins appears healthy, it really does speak to her need to reframe. Myself, and most of the other professional women, all age 50 plus, agree that if Kate Middleton can show some decorum, shouldn’t we.

At the same time, I see the photos on this page, and then followup with viewing some recent YouTube videos and she looks much differently. So, I ask myself, if there is a disconnect even with those who we view as the ‘experts’ in aging gracefully.

I will continue to read her books, receive the newsletter, but scratch my head when I see theses inconsistencies.

When did Dr. Northrup ever say STOP dressing like a 20 year old? She says to dress “as old as you feel.”

She’s got killer legs, so good for her for walking her talk, and being brave enough to set the stage for a future in which these fashion “rules” are no longer a brainwashed neccessity, but a CHOICE. We don’t have to be uncomfortable in pantyhose…or we can….it’s your choice, Gaillery. Think about it.
