Sexual energy, or eros, is life-force that permeates all of creation and is part of the joyfulness of life creation. It is important to understand that the human capacity for ecstasy is a normal part of who we are and that the ecstatic sensual experience can be a spiritual one. We can experience the uplifting ecstatic energy through art, through intense feelings of love, and during the experiences, such as those we feel in religious worship or meditation, in which we partake of an ecstatic energy that can be erotic in nature. Embracing our sexuality is a sure sign that we are heading in the direction of a healthy and fulfilled life.
